I wrote this song to show that there are many things to be positive about in life.
While on tour in Canada, we met a very nice man called Ben Randriamananjara. He's a Malagasy guitarist who plays blues under the name of Madagascar Slim, but he loved our music so much that he wanted to go back home to re-learn all about traditional playing.
I asked him if he would write some music for me, so he sent a tune on tape. One day Tsy Kivy sprang into my mind and I put the two together. Our live audiences really like this song, which makes me very happy because it is a result of us getting Malagasy people abroad interested in their own culture again. Madagascar Slim has now been back to Madagascar to learn the valiha and the history of our traditional music, and will record his own album soon.

Ny Ony and Solo
There is plenty to do yet/Don't be discouraged like this/We are still full of energy/So don't tire yourself by moaning/Brothers and sisters are still alive/Don't give up hope/There is always someone waiting for you/So don't worry and have no sleep.
Look very well, we are just happy/Look carefully, everything you look at is magic Look again, we are playing with our heart/Look very well, would you like to be like us?
Mister sun, if you are setting/If you are setting, lots of other lights will come out for me/The moon, millions of stars/They will all brighten my life.
There is plenty to do yet.../Base your life on happiness...
One, two, three, four.../I would like to reincarnate!
