|OPTION 1: One year postal subscription.
|OPTION 2: One year digital subscription.
UK postal subscription rates are simply the total of a year's current cover prices, with nothing extra charged for postage, packing or handling. So you could even save money if there is a cover price rise during the period covered by your pre-paid subscription.
On overseas postal subscriptions, we only charge the extra cost of posting abroad over and above our UK postage-inclusive prices, not the full overseas postage costs. If you order a postal subscription on-line, the extra postage cost above the UK rate will be shown separately, bringing the total to the amounts specified below:
1 year £49.50
2 years £99.00
1 year UK students: £30.00
Airmail Europe, Scandinavia, Ireland & Surface Worldwide
2 years £126.00
Airmail outside Europe, Scandinavia, Ireland
1 year £80.00
Choose your postage zone from the drop-down list which you will see when when you add a subscription to your basket.
New subscriptions start with the current issue unless you tell us otherwise.
Please note! Free back issues are sent overseas by surface mail, even if the chosen subscription is an airmail one.
Two issues of fRoots in each year are doubles (Jan/Feb and Aug/Sept). These come with amazing free exclusive compilation albums to download.
The April issue of fRoots, published late March, always contains a free European folk, roots & world music festivals advertising supplement and information directory, and also comes with a free exclusive compilation album to download.
The June and November issues are also specials with free download albums.
Please note the reference number which will appear on your subscription mailing envelope so you can quote it on any later queries and renewals. A subscription implies that the magazine will be sent to the subscriber until one of the three expires.
The full desktop digital edition of fRoots is available securely online or as a download anywhere in the world, specifically aimed at readers who don't need a physical edition or find overseas postage costs prohibitive. This also includes access to the iOS/Android versions for iPads and other tablets and smartphones.
[If you only want access for tablet/smartphone and nothing else, there's a cheaper version which you can buy in-App at £29.99 per year. Get the App from the Apple NewsStand or Android store.]
Digital subscribers do not receive any free sign-up/renewal incentives - i.e. nothing gets posted at all! The tracks on the free compilation albums are still available to Digital subscribers as a downloadable Zipped folder of mp3s plus artwork.
1 year £36.00
2 years £68.00 (save £4.00!)
1 year UK students: £9.00
New digital subscriptions start with the current issue unless you tell us otherwise.
Renewal reminders will be emailed to the email address used to purchase the subscription.
Digital magazines bought and downloaded continue to be available to the subscriber after a digital subscription expires, subject to restrictions on the number of computers on which they can be read (initially 5).
In the UK fRoots is available to order through any newsagent, even if it's not one of the titles they regularly stock. Tell them that it is distributed by Seymour (one of the major national magazine distributors). But note that our UK subscription rate is cover price only, with no extra charged for postage, so it costs no more to subscribe than it does to buy over the counter.
