The fRoots 2009 Festivals List
Over the following pages there's a diary listing of the hundreds of folk, roots and world music festivals that took place in Britain and mainland Europe in 2009. We listed their artist bills - where supplied - and other information about each month's events in the news pages of the issue of fRoots for the month in which the event took place, and we regularly updated this list on our web site with corrections and additions.
The 2010 list will appear in early March 2010, coinciding with the publication of our annual April Festival Issue. In the meantime, it's likely that most 2010 events will appear on the equivalent calendar dates, and that web and email contacts will remain the same.
Festival Organisers! Please send us your 2010 information as soon as possible, at the latest by early February 2010. Don't forget to provide your real mail address and 'phone/fax as well as your email address and any Web site URL, since this information is distributed in print form to people who may not have Internet access.
