The fRoots 2008 Festivals List

Over the following pages there's a diary listing of the hundreds of folk, roots and world music festivals that took place in Britain and mainland Europe during 2008. We list their artist bills and other information about each month's events in the news pages of the issue of fRoots for the month in which the event takes place, and we regularly update this list on our web site with corrections and additions.

Lots of research work went into compiling this information, so when contacting festivals, please mention that you read about their event in fRoots!

2009

Festival Organisers! Let us have your 2009 details as soon as possible. Don't forget to provide your realmail address and 'phone/fax as well as your email address and any Web site URL, since this information is distributed in print form to people who may not have Internet access. Send your info to fests@frootsmag.com

The 2009 listings will appear as part of our usual April issue festival supplement, published 19th March 2009, and go online around 10th March. Until then you can reasonably assume that 2009 events will take place on the equivalent dates and that you can use the same contacts listed for 2008.
